Forest Cliff FAQs

Campers should come to camp with:

  • a water bottle
  • sunscreen
  • closed-toed shoes
  • sandals for the beach
  • a bathing suit
  • beach towel
  • an extra change of clothes (or two!)
  • weather-appropriate clothing like a hat or rain jacket
  • a plastic bag for wet items.

On the evening of Canada Day, we welcome camper families to stay at camp after pickup to enjoy camp activities, dinner, campfire, and fireworks! Campers will need to be signed out into the supervision and care of families for the evening. You are welcome to stay for any or all of the evening programming, on us!

Each day, campers will have the opportunity to enjoy campfire programming, activities, camp wide games, meals, TUCK, and beach time. Campers travel together in their Cabin Group and stay on our property the entire time. Drop-off is between 8:00-8:15am and pickup is at 4:00pm. An Extended Care program is available until 5:15pm.

Campers must have completed SK through Grade 7 by June 2026.

A nutritious and filling breakfast and lunch are provided for campers each day. Additionally, families are invited to join campers for dinner during our Canada Day extended programming. Our food team can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies.

Day Camp at the Lake offers all the fun of Day Camp at Forest Cliff’s lakefront property in Lambton Shores. Campers will have a schedule full of fun activities offered exclusively at this location, including our high ropes challenge course, kayaking, and more! At Day Camp on the Lake, all your campers’ meals are provided by our amazing food team.

At Forest Cliff, we want all children to feel like they belong and so we strive to ensure every camper is given individual attention and is included in our experiences.  At Day Camp, we do not provide 1:1 support but rather collaborate with families in order to provide a successful day camp experience for both camper and their existing support worker.  If your child has complex needs and has 1:1 support at school (ie. EA, Support Worker, Respite Worker, etc) or you believe the assistance of your existing 1:1 support worker would enable your child to best experience Day Camp, please email support@forestcliff.ca!

Medication required during the day will be kept by the Day Camp Administrator to be dispensed as directed. Please leave medication in its original packaging, and leave it with the Day Camp Administrator at check-in. Parents indicate if a camper’s EpiPen or inhaler needs to remain with them at all times.

Our kitchen is familiar with special diets and food allergies. Please provide details in the medical form to make proper arrangements for your child. When meals are provided by camp, an additional charge will apply for vegetarian options, dairy free, egg free and gluten free (max 1 fee per session). Everything we serve is peanut/nut safe. We ask that no peanut or tree nut products be brought to camp or consumed on the property.
